Lying “behind” or “to the side” of the Four Worlds is a fifth, the Qliphothic World, a realm of ancient and horrifying dimensions whose energies have decayed into forms inimical to normal life and existence. It is inhabited by malevolent beings such as the Kings of Edom and others like Cthulhu Mythos-like beings, as found in the books of H.P Lovecraft.
